Emotional Health & Academic Success
Students learn best when they are self-regulated (e.g., clam, alert, secure) and instruction is challenging – i.e., not too frustrating or easy. They also tend to feel more motivated to engage in difficult academic tasks when they feel like they belong at school, have at least one genuine friend, and have a positive relationship with their teacher. Dr. Sadeh works to help families and schools create emotionally supportive learning environments for diverse learners.
